Government Jobs Information Session

This information session facilitated by Public Service Commission (PSC) of Canada will instruct you on how to apply for jobs on the Government of Canada (GC) Jobs portal, highlight the importance of self-declaration, and how to request accommodations during the recruitment process. This is a safe and accessible session, explaining clearly how accommodations are implemented in the workplace.

During the event, the PSC will:

  • Give a 25-minute presentation on the application process on GC jobs.
  • Give a 25-minute presentation on accommodation for persons with disabilities.
  • Offer a 10-minute Q & A period to address general inquiries from the audience.

After the event:

The following will be shared to participants after the session to ensure that they retain the information and have the opportunity to ask questions:

  • A feedback form inviting participants to share additional questions that weren’t responded during the event and indicate an email that could be used to contact them. 
  • YouTube links to “How to Apply to GC Jobs” video, both in English and French.
  • One-pagers in PDFs & links to relevant websites shared during the presentation.
